What He Does:

Professor Ashiq Anjum is a Professor of Distributed systems within the college of Engineering & Technology at the University of Derby. His research interests are data intensive distributed systems and high-performance analytics platforms for continuous processing of streaming data. His work has many different applications such as medicine, security and forensic science. In addition, for the past fifteen years he has been investigating large scale distributed systems and analytics platforms for the LHC data in collaboration with CERN Geneva Switzerland.
